Honeycomb Collect
What is Collect?
Collect is the agent based log and event collection module that will gather your sys logs and bring them back to the Honeycomb Console to be stored where they can be analysed, archived and mined for particular behaviour patterns.
Honeycomb Collect allows you to capture critical events and behaviour from machines across your network all in real-time, including:
- File access behaviour (open, modify, create, delete, rename)
- Network data (firewalls, routers, etc.)
- User logon/logoff
- Database access
- Event data (e.g. Windows Event Logs)
- Log file data (e.g. IIS logs, web server logs, custom log files, etc.)
Honeycomb Collect includes an easy-to-use software deployment component to ensure agents for your company's monitoring needs are effectively installed across your machines thus erasing the need to manually install any software.
Whether you require Windows event log monitoring or file access monitoring, Honeycomb Collect provides you with a simple solution to deploy monitoring agents on the appropriate targets as well as a policy based approach in order direct the collection requirements.
The Collect module is included in the Honeycomb Lexicon enterprise product, which can be downloaded for FREE via the download section of our website.
