This includes, of course normal day-to-day updates and maintenance (for example virus updates) to 1,000's or 10,000's of devices, but also includes content synchronization (for example keeping web farm content in-sync with centralized content services), allowing changes and policy to be applied in myriad ways, depending on the data to be delivered and state of the devices on the network.
